An aspect of the 70 --- Luke 10
Interesting to me was that when Jesus sent out the 70 -- he told them what their wages were going to be: shelter, food, and drink. Now I realize that food was also a form of payment that day, but when one takes into consideration Paul's opinion of contentment with having clothes and food -- it is easy to believe that many of the first generation preachers would have been appalled with the lifestyle of some preachers in our modern day. The laborer is worthy of his hire -- was applied in the context of Luke 10 as shelter, food, and drink.
